The body of a diver who went missing while exploring a wreck in Ardmucknish Bay, Oban, has been recovered.
Councillor John Skerry, 54, from Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire, failed to surface after diving with two friends at the wreck of SS Breda on Tuesday.
A search was launched and his body was recovered by Strathclyde Police divers shortly before noon on Thursday.
Councillor Skerry served on Huntingdon Town Council. The Breda was a Dutch steamer sank by a German plane in 1942.
Strathclyde Police said a report on Councillor Skerry's death would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
