Man in critical condition after road accident

A PEDESTRIAN is in hospital with “life threatening” injuries following a collision with a car last night.

The incident occurred on the A340, Aldermaston Road, at 8.57pm when the 51-year-old male was in a collision with a Cadillac motor car travelling in the direction of Basingstoke.

He was taken to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, as well as anyone who saw the Cadillac or pedestrian prior to the incident.
