A young woman died and two people were injured after their vehicle is believed to have crashed into a tree in Flintshire.
The incident, which involved a red Nissan Micra, took place on the A541 at Hendre, near Mold, on Saturday night.
Police said the front seat passenger, who is not thought to be from north Wales, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and the other passenger both sustained minor injuries.
They were taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
The road was closed following the crash, which happened shortly before 2200 BST, and diversions were put in place.
