A PASSENGER in a car died after a crash near Louth.
Emergency services were called to the A16, London Road, Haugham, at about 11.45pm last night (Thursday) after a white Honda coupe left the road. A man aged 21 from Louth who had been a passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another passenger, a 20-year-old man from Louth received treatment for minor injuries at Grimsby Hospital and was released. The driver of the car, a 21-year-old man from Louth was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police say this brings to 13 the number killed on Lincolnshire’s roads this year compared to eight at the same time in 2010.
